Respoke's products are sustainable. Respoke upcycles existing scarves to give them new life and purpose, while minimizing waste. We use natural fibers and materials that are environmentally friendly. Our Spanish craftspeople earn a fair wage in family owned workshops, passing along their knowledge for future generations.
Respoke espadrilles use jute and natural rubber that are heat emulsified (not glue) together to form the sole. The upper is hand-stitched to the lower.
Respoke sneakers use natural vulcanized rubber that adheres to the fabric by heat and additional stitching, not glue. While the finish may appear imperfect, that is where the perfection begins—making the shoe more adaptable to the foot, more flexible, and ultimately more sustainable.
Respoke ready-to-wear is comprised of pre-structured garments embellished with iconic designer scarves. We work with artisans in Spain and the United States to source and embellish each unique piece.
