Provincetown: Respoke Opens Second Location
More than seven years ago, Respoke changed from an idea to a one-of-a-kind product-driven business. It was a 2015 September night on the west end of Provincetown where would-be Co-Founders Michael Tonello and Chris Bartick discussed Tonello's concept of an espadrille made from an Hermes scarf.
Fast forward a few years and Respoke opened its first store location at 145 Commercial Street, just two blocks from that first conversation. It was the foundation that led us down the path to create experiential boutiques. Our locations allow customers to learn about our rich process story and engage in a "treasure-hunt" for the Respoke piece(s) that speak to their own personal style.
Now after four successful seasons of having Respoke Provincetown, two seasons with Respoke Nantucket and one with Respoke Martha's Vineyard, we have added a new location at 351 Commercial Street in Provincetown.
The space was originally built in 1850 as a firehouse, truck 5. Above, members pose in front of a 1925 Ford Model T Chemical engine in 1928.
At 351, you will find unique footwear, ready-to-wear, fine art and accessories. At our original location at 145 Commercial, we plan to have a new type of showroom to be revealed in May. Stay tuned!
